Excelguard 512 is a solvent deposited water displacing corrosion preventative developed for use in acidic environments. Excelguard 512 is a blend of dewatering agents, corrosion inhibitors, mineral oils, synthetic sulphonates and hydrocarbon solvents. It leaves a thin oily anti corrosion film when applied. Excelguard 512 is ideally suited to short to medium term inter-process protection of ferrous components after acid pickling.
